It gets very hot so even when it is below zero out it will still heat up/cook food just fine. I wish there was a divided insert i could purchase for it but oh well. The seal around the lid keeps liquid from leaking out, It's easy to use just plug in and wait. If this one ever decides to break, it will be totally worth buying again.
